Hello past PA Team Alumna! We are so glad that we’re at the stage that we can formally invite you to join the Access Alliance as an official member! How can you get involved? The first step would be to join the slack workspace, which can be found below:

Your second step would be to join your PA cohort. If you were at PA across multiple years, join the one cohort you most resonate with. Let others in the channel know you are on there by introducing yourself (likely many will already know you but for some this could be the start)

Third step: the initiatives! These are all optional. We don't want to make the Alliance about commitment but about choice. You have different options to choose from, as we want to make the Alliance a fun space where you can connect with peers and also enhance your professional network if you wanted to.

One initiative is the Snowball, a micro-community consisting of other Members which is formed around your interests. The snowball - as we call it - starts rolling. Calls are scheduled to connect you to your fellow members. After 1-2 months, the snowball has finished its sun and a new one is made, ready to start anew. Another initiative is Giving Back, Getting Back where we connect you to current PA members to advice them on work and careers. Essentially, you will be mentoring and continue helping towards our goal of equalizing education! To get involved, join the slack channel and complete the typeform.

Six Degrees of Help is a good initiative for you if you are feeling stuck, you have a question or you would like someone to introduce you to an industry - or viceversa, if you want to help! Simply join the slack channel!
